Dear Ladies/Sirs,
I was born in 1938 and when I was
around 5 years old, I was given a Nu-Matic gun, which looked like an automatic pistol. It was terrific…..except, the
rest of the family didn’t agree, and the gun suddenly disappeared and nobody could figure out where it went. I couldn’t
remember the name of it and nobody that I’ve ever spoken with had ever seen such a gun. About 3 weeks ago, I came across
one at a 2nd hand shop, but the owner wouldn’t sell it. Are you still making them? Do you know where I can buy one?
Best Wishes,

Hello
Steve,
Thank
you for writing, it's always a thrill to here new Paper Buster Gun stories. I'm glad you finally figured out what it was after
so many years.
As
far as getting a Paper Buster, the only place I know that has them consistently for sale (every day) is ebay, usually
for around $15 to $25 dollars depending on condition. Use the search term LMCO & Paper buster and you should find them.
Because the Langson Mfg. Co. was closed in 1974, it really is the only good option, and I have purchased nearly my entire
collection there myself, except for a few that were passed down to me.
Thanks again, and please let me know how your search goes.
Sincerely,
Bill C.

Hello,
I came across your wonderful site, and I have a Cody Colt Cap gun and was very
curious to know what it would be worth? I didn't see any sort of prices listed on your site, so I thought I would email
with my inquiry. I am considering selling my Cody Colt cap gun and was wondering what I could price it at? I don't
have the original box, but I do have about 6 or so boxes of the paper caps. The one I have is in very good condition.
If you would be able to provide me with any pricing information, it would be greatly
appreciated!
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Regards,
Rob R.

Hello Rob,
Thank you for visiting the LMCO website, and I am glad you enjoyed it.
The Cody Colt alone without a box or ammo typically sells on ebay for about $15.00 -$25.00, but may be more or less depending
on auction circumstances and the item's condition. I have seen it go as high as $45.00 with an aggressive buyer.
The box's of ammo usually go for about $5.00 - $10.00 apiece, again depending on circumstances. It's hard to say what the
lot of 6 may be worth, or what the combination of your gun + the ammo box's is worth, but I would expect it to be around $50.00,
but you never know!
I hope this information helps you, and good luck! Feel free to write if you have any more questions.
Thank you,
Bill C.

Attached is a picture of the Paper Buster Gun I bought at a yard
sale. As you can see the barrel tip is missing, otherwise it is still intact and works. I wondered if it had any value but
would rather get it fixed if possible and give it to my grandson. I had one of these as a child and I remember the fun I had
using it.
I also enjoyed looking through your website. Thank you for the
trip down memory lane.
Best regards,

Hello Robert,
Thank you for writing about your Paper Buster Gun. The value of
this item in this condition is usually around $10 - $20 on eBay. As far as fixing it goes, the missing barrel end should
not effect the toys function. As long a the rubber grommet is in good shape, it should still work well.
Good Luck, and have fun with your new (old) toy!
Sincerely,
Bill C.

Hello: I just found your site. What is your interest in LMCO?
I've been interested in Super Nu-Matic guns ever my first one in the early fifties. It was the standard large gun (too big
for me, I could hardly pull the trigger), I only found out about the juniors much later. I have several guns, some of which
I've never seen before.
Anyway, I have a question for you: Which of the juniors came first?
The one which came in a box and was available in blue, red and grey, with an attached flash suppressor and striped ammo, or
the red one which came in a blister-pack with a molded in suppressor? The ammo with that one didn't have stripes. Right?
As near as I can figure the striped ammo came five to a box for ten cents a box, and the unstriped junior ammo came fifteen
to a box for twenty nine cents a pack. I don't know if any of this is correct, I'm just guessing.
I'm curious to know what you or any one else thinks. Is there
some organization of interested people? Are there any dealers who specialize. Please let me know, thanks.

Hello Damien,
I'm happy to here about your interest in these toys. In regards
to "what is my interest in LMCO", the inventor of the Paper Buster toys was my Great Grandfather, Otto Langos. As to your
next question, I believe the red one in the blister pack with the molded "suppressor" came first.
As far as more interested people goes, I plan on soon having a
web log (blog) connected to the site were people like yourself and other of my family members can go to log in their LMCO
stories for everyone to read. I will drop you an email when this is online. I also plan on adding more items to the site in
the near future so please check back occasionally.
Also, daily on eBay there are many LMCO items for sale and/or
auction. I actually got many of the items that are on the web site from there.
Thank you, and good luck collecting these toys. Feel free to write
again sometime.
